What We Stand For

We stand for a world where every person has the chance to reach their full potential. At THE NOWAH KOLLEH FOUNDATION, INC., we are driven by a deep sense of responsibility to help those in need, particularly vulnerable populations. Our main initiatives include:

• To establish, own,and operate orphanage homes and refuge centers for orphans as well as abandoned kids;
• To empower girls by providing scholarship programs that will enable them toget formal education or vocational training opportunities;
• To provide opportunities for the less-privileged youths through scholarship schemes and grants;
• To establish and provide Entrepreneur training for adolescents and teenage youth
• To provide assistance to single mothers and less-privileged babies;
• To organize outreach and awareness programs that will attract the drugaddicts, less-fortunate, neglected, way-wards, etc.;
• To develop them into good citizens and agents of positive change through a regular mentorship program called “Better Life”;
• To motivate them to impact their community through community services;
• To ensure that all Liberian children have the opportunity to reach their full potential and helpadults who care for children to access and meet the needs of each child. Informed, engaged, and skilled parents, childcare providers, educators, and healthcare professionals can significantly improve the quality of a child’s development and early learning experiences;
• To solicit support and resources in order to provide assistance to individuals, families, or communities to access healthcare services and medical assistance. Besides, it aims to improve health outcomes, increase access to healthcare, and alleviate financial burdens associated with medical expenses. The focal areas are not limited to financial assistance, medical outreach and partnership programs, maternal and child health services, mental health support, health education and promotion, emergency medical assistance, etc.
• To lead advocacy and collaborative efforts on health and socioeconomic challenges and to mobilize resources to address acute issues facing the needy. Besides, by mobilizing resources to address acute challenges facing the needy, itdemonstrates its proactive approach to tackling problems immediately while advocating for systemic change in the medium to long run. Therefore, to play a crucial role in raising awareness, influencing policies, and mobilizing resources to address the acute needs of affected populations;
• To empower students with relevant knowledge and wisdom through our Better Life conference and regular mentorshipprogram that will enable them to positively impact their environments;
• To provide any other humanitarian services as the need arises;
• To provide scholarships to orphans, deserted,and other children in need;
• To carry out all acts necessary, suitable,and proper for the accomplishment of any of the purpose and objectives in furtherance to any of the power herein set forth, either alone or in consultation with other individuals pursuant to the provision of the non-for-profit Corporation Act under the Association Law of the Republic of Liberia may now and hereafter in.
